Staff

In the Intermediate Camp, there is 1 staff member for every 7 campers. The campers are supervised 24 hours/day by the camp counsellors and directors.

Intermediate Camp counsellors are university students (minimum 18 years old). They have been carefully selected for their character, sense of responsibility, flexibility and colorful personality.

Our counsellors have experience working with young people and understand the wide range of demands for 11 to 13 year olds; some campers need extra attention, others may need responsibility. All are treated with respect.

Campers are assigned to counsellor groups according to age and session dates.

Campers and counsellors live in the same residences, in rooms located next to each other.

Basic medical services are handled by the camp infirmary or the medical clinic located just a short walk from the camps. The world famous, Toronto’s Sick Children’s Hospital, (5 minute drive from the camps), handles all other medical services for our campers.
